Continue straight ahead in the direction of the train and bus station, where we’ll end our walk.
Just after the bridge, in the middle of the park area here on the Stationsweg is the Carnival monument that was made in 1952 by the sculptor Jo Uiterwaal. For years it was on display at the train and later the bus station of Den Bosch.
You have heard or read enough about the carnival in Den Bosch. Let me conclude with the words: we hope to see you again, with or without a red-white and yellow scarf during Carnival, or one of our other special festivals.
I’ll leave you here. If you began the tour on one of the other positions in town, restart the tour. It will tell you to start at the bottom of the escalators of the train station.
I hope you enjoyed our walk today and everything I’ve told you about the city I grew up in. Please take a moment to rate this tour and leave a comment. Have a safe journey home or to your lodgings and I hope to be of service to you with one of my other city walks or itineraries.
