starting point of the city walk Den Bosch
let 's start at the train station and explore the tour through 's-Hertogenbosch
ook in het Nederlands

“This tour starts in front of the central train station”

Welcome to Den Bosch, the city of carnival, the Bossche Bol and the St. John’s Cathedral. It’s also the city where I was born and raised. My name is Arjan, nicknamed AJ for the English speakers. Together we’ll have a wonderful walk through small alleys, open market squares, beautiful museums and a gorgeous cathedral.

We begin in front of the central train station, at the bottom of the escalator, where you already have a view of the Golden Dragon. More on that later.

First a short explanation of how VoiceMap works. It uses your location to play audio at the right time and place. This means you can now put your phone away. Don’t worry if I’m silent for a while, if I’m not giving directions or telling stories. There is a map on your screen if you ever feel lost. If you get too far off the route without noticing, the VoiceMap app will let you know. Please take your time during this tour. There is no rush, you can take as long as you want.

So, let’s get going!

With your back to the station, walk towards the Dragon, keeping to the right of it and use the pedestrian crossings.
